You are invited to experience firsthand "The Practical Expression of Loving Kindness" in the land of its origin. Over the next thirty (30) days we will explore the profound spiritual roots of SomaVeda™ Traditional Thai Medical Massage in the actual temples and schools credited with preserving its heritage. This is not just a guided tour. Dr. Anthony B. James will be facilitating a comprehensive training and immersion experience. Participants choose to gain up to 200 hrs. of course credit (CEU\'s) in SomaVeda™, Level Three, ( Nuad Boran, Old Medicine Hospital Program) and SomaVeda™ Level Four (Traditional Thai and Ayurvedic Theory. Thailand certification program ( a potential $ 1900.00 dollar value! ). Complete this program and you return home with ITTA Certfied Practitioner status! Normally, we will charge thousands of dollars for a full 4 week Certified practitioner program alone! The program is a total survey of traditional and modern practice and applications from as far as North goes to the far south, including institutional as well as traditional massage of Thailands native peoples Karen, Lisu, Lahu tribes.
There is no prerequisite for participation. We will study, train, practice, walk, explore, receive hands on traditional sessions in a variety of styles, meditate, visit vortices of healing energy thousands of years old, we will eat well, study more, practice more, laugh, cry and prosper in love, compassion, joy and equanimity. To prepare you for your journey Dr. James has prepared a comprehensive packet including Thai phrases for traveling and training in-country, what to bring, what to wear, food tips and source materials on Thailand\'s religion, art and culture. The Amulet Market, Wat Po, the popular name for Wat Pra Chetupon, quaint cities of Lamphang and Lamphun, Si Satchanali a sister to Sukothais antiquity, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai province and city, The Golden Triangle boarder land of Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) and Laos, We will trek to see the indigenous native Lisu, Hmong, Karen, Mien, Lahu and Akha hill tribes people and their remote villages! Not only do we see them, we will be studying their healing practices in depth--including medicinal plant identification and location with uses in the jungle! We have arranged for lessons in hands on healing and massage with elders in the village as well. We will walk over into Burma for two days to see Thachilek city market and by special arraingment, study at a medical clinic, famous for curing Cancer using traditional medicine!
